Dietary Management Technology

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
To prepare dietary and food service management trainees for entry-level positions in a wide range of food establishments, including: restaurants, fast food operations, cafeterias, hospitals, nursing/retirement homes, and private clubs. Program graduates are eligible to sit for the credentialing examination offered through the Dietary Managers Association (DMA) to become Certified Dietary Managers (CDM).

* Meets theory and internship requirements to sit for the Dietary Manager certification exam offered through the DMA.

NOTE: Acceptable ASSET, ACT, COMPASS, or TABE scores may waive the English and math course requirements for one-year technical certificate programs.
