PROGRAM
DESCRIPTION
This flexible program enables a student
to design an individualized program of collegiate level work of academic transfer
and/or technical career courses. Individual courses within the Associate of
General Studies (A.G.S.) degree may fulfill requirements for transfer toward
a baccalaureate degree, direct employment, or educational enrichment. The student
must obtain written approval from the Division Chair of General Studies and
assigned faculty advisor for their intended course of study. Students seeking
the A. G. S. degree for transfer to a four-year institution must consult with
the receiving institution concerning the transferability of individual courses.
