The Adult Education & Workforce Development Center has two divisions: (1) Adult Education; and (2) the Workforce Development Center.

The function of Adult Education is to provide Adult Basic Education (ABE), preparing students for the taking of the high school General Equivalency Diploma (GED) exam, providing English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction, and related adult educational services.

The function of the Workforce Development Center is to provide educational and training services for employees or prospective employees of local companies.  These services focus on improving the skills needed for performing on the job.  Courses may be short (½ day or 1-day) or may be longer (a full-semester), depending on the type and nature of the services.
