The Applied Math & Measurement training allows employers to pick and choose which specific training module they need for their employees. These modules are offered at the employers convenience through a training contract. The modules are as follows:

Module 1: Fractions

  1. The Meaning of Common Fractions
  2. Changing Improper Fractions to Whole or Mixed Numbers and Vice-Versa
  3. Renaming a Fraction in Simplest and Higher Terms
  4. Fractions and Decimals
  5. Adding Fractions
  6. Subtracting Fractions
  7. Multiplying Fractions and Decimals
  8. Dividing Fractions and Decimals

Module 2: The English (U.S. Standard) and Metric Systems of Measurement

  1. The English (U.S. Standard) System of Measurement (including length, area, volume, capacity & weight)
  2. The Metric System of Measurement
  3. Converting from English to Metric and Vice-Versa

Module 3: Basic Algebra

  1. Addition and Subtraction of Integers
  2. Multiplication and Division of Integers
  3. Literal Expressions
  4. The Distributive Law
  5. Equations
  6. Word Problems Solved by Equations
  7. Literal First-Degree Equations

Module 4: Measurement

  1. Measurement Video
  2. Precision and Accuracy
  3. Measuring Length
  4. Micrometers
  5. Tolerance and Clearance

Module 5: Ratio and Proportion

  1. Solving Problems for Missing Terms
  2. Practical Applications of Proportions

Module 6: Linear Measurement

  1. Units of Linear Measure
  2. Distance Around Place Figures
  3. Linear Velocity
  4. Rotational Velocity

Module 7: Measurement of Surface Area

  1. Units of Square Measure
  2. Area of Plane Figures
  3. Surface Area of Solids
