The Workforce Development Center of Southeast Arkansas College is now providing safety training courses to help you with your training needs. The topics include Basic Safety, Personal Protection, Right to Know/Chemical Safety, Emergency Response/Fire Prevention, Material Handling, and others.

The Safety Courses
Courses 1-36 below are designed to provide basic safety awareness for employees and satisfy OSHA‘s monthly safety training requirements. Course 37 provides American Heart Association approved CPR certification and medical first aid instruction from a licensed Paramedic/EMT.  Choose the topic that interests you.

Course Length & Cost/Fees

Each course (1-36) listed above are 1 hour in length and are only $15.00 per trainee. Course 37 is 8 hours in length and is $45.00 per trainee.


Discounts for Courses 1-36

You can save money by contracting for several of courses 1-36 as a package. For a contract including three (3) or more courses (1-36 only), the fee is $10.00 per trainee. The experts used by the SEARK Workforce Development Center for safety training are professional consultants in the safety field. Accordingly, the cost for expert training is significantly more expensive.
