Learning Assistance Lab
The Learning Assistance Laboratory provides a learning atmosphere for Southeast Arkansas College students to become successful achievers in the classroom. Assistance includes academic and computer assisted instruction. Services offered in the lab are free to students enrolled at Southeast Arkansas College.

 

SEARK College's Learning Assistance Laboratory is located in Technology Center-North, Rooms 208-210. The Lab is staffed and open to all enrolled students working on SEARK College class work. The Learning Assistance Lab staff works diligently to support classroom instruction by providing computer programs and tutorials in subject areas offered by SEARK College. Lab hours are posted each semester.

 

LAB POLICIES

  • The Learning Assistance Lab is for SEARK College student use only. Proof of enrollment must be provided on request. Children are not allowed in the Lab.
  • NO food or drinks are allowed in the Lab.
  • Pagers and cellular phones are not allowed to ring in the Lab.
  • Property or materials belonging to the Lab may not be removed .
  • The Lab is for classroom work only.
  • Assisting each other with computer based classroom assignments is considered cheating. Anyone suspected of cheating, will be reported to the proper instructor.
  • Anyone viewing illicit or pornographic materials via the Internet, will be removed from the Lab and reported to the proper SEARK College authorities.
  • SEARK College has adopted technology usage and copyright policies that are posted throughout the Learning Assistance Lab. By utilizing the lab you are agreeing to the policies set forth in these documents.

PLATO Courseware includes: Reading, Writing, Grammar, Math Fundamentals, Pre-Algebra, Beginning Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, Advanced Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Science Fundamentals, Chemistry, Physics.

Monday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
