Pre-Registration:
Monday, April 11— Thursday, April 14
(TCN, Room 206 from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

Open Registration:
Wednesday, May 25 (McGeorge Hall from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)
This registration is for the two 4-week terms (1st Summer Term or 2nd Summer Term) and the 8-week Extended Term.

Registration for 2nd Summer Term Only:
Wednesday, June 22 (TCN, Room 206 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

1st 4-Week Term - May 31 through June 27
Final Exams (1st Term) - June 27
2nd 4-Week Term - June 29 through July 27
Final Exams (2nd Term & Extended Term) - July 27

Tuition: $50.00 per credit hour
($900.00 Maximum Tuition Per Semester)

Assessment Fee: $5.00
Technology Fee: $3.00 per credit hour
Science/Lab Fee: $30.00 per course
Telecourse and Internet Fees:
$30.00 per course

Classes begin on Tuesday, May 31.

SEARK College Distance Learning Orientation
Internet: Orientation for all Internet courses will be on-line.
Telecourse: Telecourse packets can be picked up in the SEARK College Library. All remaining packets will be mailed.

Notice to Internet and Telecourse Students
Internet Students: Orientation for all courses delivered over the Internet will be on-line. Instructions for accessing the orientation will be available in the Bookstore, Library, Learning Assistance Lab, and Student Affairs office. Access to Orientation will begin at noon on Tuesday, May 31, 2005. Orientation must be completed by Thursday, June 2, 2005. All Internet courses offered by the General Studies Department require one or more exams be proctored. Exams can be proctored on campus or off-campus at a pre-approved proctoring site. Complete Information is available from the General Studies and/or Distance Learning Departments.
Telecourse Students: Orientation material will be available from the Library/Distance Learning staff upon presentation of a completed registration form and a current (Summer '05) SEARK College ID card. Course packets can be picked up May 26 thru June 4. All remaining packets will be mailed on June 7, 2005. Packets will be mailed only to students who live outside Jefferson County and are not taking traditional courses on campus.

Preq: If this has a "Y," requirements must be met before enrolling in this course.
Days: M=Monday, T=Tuesday, W=Wednesday, R=Thursday, F=Friday, S=Saturday, and N=Sunday
Tele, INET and CIV: Tele is a Telecourse; INET is an Internet course; and CIV is a Compressed Interactive Video Course.

Remember!
It is critical to attend the first day of class! Many classes have important first day orientations, so missing the first class can be frustrating for both student and instructor. Classes start promptly as scheduled. Arriving late means catching up and is disruptive to your instructor as well as other students.
Withdrawals
The College recognizes and understands that there are circumstances in which a student must drop a class or completely withdraw from college. Students are urged to meet with a counselor or academic advisor to determine if an alternate action may be available. If you find it necessary to withdraw, it is very important that the proper withdrawal procedures be followed through the Registrar's Office. Remember, a "W" is better than an "F."
Don't Forget Your ID Card!
Please be prepared to show your student ID to Campus Security at all times, especially after 5:00 p.m. It is important that we maintain a safe and secure environment for our students.
Cell Phones
Ringing phones are NOT allowed in the classroom. A ringing phone is disruptive and not conducive to learning. Cellular phones should be turned off or put on vibrate. This also applies to paging devices.
